The company was awarded HUF 79 million in non-repayable European Union funding.

About the development
Bony-V Bt. has placed reliability and a high technological standard at the heart of its company philosophy, as these are essential for long-term operation as an automotive parts supplier.
The development will create a rear-view mirror with directly integrated heating. Directly heated exterior mirror glass offers advantages in two manufacturing processes. For the mirror heater manufacturer, neither a carrier film nor an adhesive film is needed, as the heating element is formed directly on the mirror. In addition to saving materials, several production steps are eliminated, allowing a more reliable product to be manufactured at a lower cost. Mirror assembly requires only two components instead of three: the directly heated mirror glass and the plastic housing. Their assembly can therefore be automated. This was previously impossible because film-based mirror heaters could only be bonded manually. Bonding is a critical operation because air bubbles caused by incorrect application can lead to premature heater failure. The new manufacturing process also eliminates the use of adhesive film on one side, reducing the waste burden on the environment.
